Boiler Servicing
Why should you have your boiler serviced?
First of all it is of paramount importance to make sure all Boilers are safely installed and all products of combustion go out through the flue, also that the boiler is gas tight. This cannot be taken for granted therefore you will need to get this checked by a competent trained gas service engineer, they will be able to give you a service check list of all boiler operations and if they are working correctly.
IF THEY CANNOT DO THIS THEN DO NOT EMPLOY THEM.
It is a known fact that gas fires and Boilers deteriorate and to avoid breakdowns and CO poisoning a gas appliance should be checked every year, by doing this it will in the long run save you money.

Gas Safe Register
The Gas safe register's primary function is to make sure that all operatives working with gas are registered with them and are qualified and competent, to these ends, the operative has to go through a rigorous training process and is also assessed regularly.
Did you know that just because a company is gas safe registered, this in it self does not necessarily qualify them for all gas related jobs? There is a qualification criteria and registered operatives will have what they are qualified to work on the back of their card.
